We are pleased to announce the newly elected executives of the Corporate Affairs Managers Committee of the Nigerian Insurers Association (CAMCONIA), following the elections held on September 24, 2026.
Bankole Banjo ANIPR, ANIMN, Marketing and Corporate Communications Manager,SanlamAllianz Nigeria Insurance Ltd emerged as chairman of the committee .
Rachel Owolabi – Head of Marketing & Customer Experience, emPLE Nigeria was elected Vice Chairman of Camconia.
Niyi Abiola, MCIM – Head of Corporate Services, Leadway Assurance emerged as Secretary
Nancy Peter – Corporate Affairs Executive and Brand Manager Linkage Assurance Plc was elected Assistant Secretary.
The election concluded with a seamless handover ceremony from the outgoing Chairman, Mr. olusegun Bankole of Sovereign Trust Insurance Plc , who commended the resilience of the committee and extended his warmest wishes to the new leadership team for a successful tenure.
Representing the parent association,Rukayat Ajoke Adeyemi , ACPSP Head of Corporate Communications, Nigerian Insurers Association officially received the new executive team. In her remarks, she admonished the new leaders to remain deeply committed to their duties, urging them to champion initiatives that drive public trust, collaboration, and exceptional brand reputation across the Nigerian insurance ecosystem.
